Memorial Wall Update September 2022

The Parish Council is sorry to have to report that despite the contractors' completion of works on the wall on inspection it has been agreed that some further remedial work will need be undertaken, a time frame for this is yet to be finalised.

Please be assured this is to ensure the right end result for the community and this is being managed by our insurers, their surveyor with input from the Council.

Please note the Council did not instruct the contractor as it is part of our insurers claim to manage the process and the Council is very frustrated and will continue to chase until this is resolved to our satisfaction.

There are no expenditure implications however it does mean there will be some disruption until works are finalised and signed off.
